My Interests in Amateur Radio and other things
... about me
As a native of Hungary, I lived in Budapest until 1971 when I left with my XYL and spent one year in a refugee camp in Capua, Italy. We arrived in Cleveland, Ohio in 1972, bacame US citizens and moved to Davenport, Iowa in December 1977. Relocated to Los Angeles, California on January, 1980. Got my Amateur Radio Operator General Class license in 1984 with the call sign N6KNT. In 1993 I upgraded to Extra Class with the call letters AB6ZE. In 1992 we moved into our own house in a small town, Castaic. I selected our property based on a good location for my tower, which I erected in 1995. It's a 38' heavy duty US tower, the antenna is a Cushcraft 7 element tribander, the "Big Thunder X7". http://www.castaiclake.com/
